Role Overview
We are looking for a seasoned analyst to enhance our Investment Process Management team within the Quantitative Equities division.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and procure unique alternative data sets from diverse sources to facilitate the development of distinctive alpha insights.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to fellow data analysts to amplify their contributions to the team.
  • Establish comprehensive methodologies for evaluating and interpreting alternative data to extract valuable insights and actionable intelligence.
  • Collaborate with various teams to integrate both traditional and alternative data into existing analytical frameworks and decision-making processes.
  • Keep informed about emerging trends and technologies in alternative data, assessing their potential implications for our strategic direction.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to key stakeholders in a clear and persuasive manner.
  • Work alongside compliance teams to ensure adherence to internal data acquisition policies.
  • Collaborate with legal advisors to ensure data contracts meet legal, investment, and business requirements.

Qualifications

  • Analytical Skills – Possess a critical and creative mindset, balancing intuition with statistical validation.
  • Financial Acumen – Have a solid understanding of key business success drivers, including financial theory, economic models, and corporate financial statements.
  • Initiative – Demonstrate motivation and accountability for the quality and timeliness of work.
  • Team-Oriented – Thrive in a collaborative environment, valuing shared success.
  • Organizational Skills – Capable of managing and prioritizing multiple projects and daily tasks effectively.
  • Educational Background – A minimum of an undergraduate degree in finance, mathematics, statistics, computer science, engineering, or a related field. Completion of CFA or a relevant graduate degree is advantageous.
  • Professional Experience – 2-5 years of experience in quantitative finance, equity investment, data science, or related areas is preferred.
