Sales Team Lead

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Sales Supervisor to join our team at J & K GAS BAR CONVENIENCE LIMITED.
Job Summary:The Sales Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the sales floor, managing sales staff, and ensuring excellent customer service. This is a key role that requires strong leadership and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Assign Sales Workers to Duties: Ensure that sales staff are assigned to their duties in a fair and efficient manner.
- Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, hire, and train new sales staff to meet the needs of the business.
- Authorize Payments: Authorize payments by cheque and ensure that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
- Order Merchandise: Order merchandise and supplies as needed to maintain a well-stocked sales floor.
- Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure that the sales floor is adequately staffed at all times.
- Sell Merchandise: Sell merchandise to customers and provide excellent customer service.
- Prepare Reports: Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to help inform business decisions.
- Resolve Issues: Resolve any issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages.
- Organize Inventory: Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that the sales floor is well-stocked and that merchandise is easily accessible to customers.
- Supervise Staff: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of sales staff to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a sales or retail environment.
- Work Setting: Retail business, gas bar.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, organized, reliability, team player.
J & K GAS BAR CONVENIENCE LIMITED is a dynamic and fast-paced retail environment. The Sales Supervisor will work in a team-oriented environment and will be required to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.
