Job Summary

We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Bartender to join our team at Alchemy. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting exceptional cocktails, providing outstanding customer service, and contributing to a positive and dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve handcrafted cocktails to our guests, ensuring exceptional quality and presentation.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work collaboratively with the bar team to maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of our menu, including cocktails, wine, and beer, to make informed recommendations to guests.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.

Requirements

  • Safe Serve Certification
  • Previous experience as a bartender in a similar environment
  • Enrolled or completed a Hospitality, Food & Beverage, and/or Special Events Program is an asset
  • Wine, beer, and cocktail knowledge is required
  • WSET preferred but not required
  • Passion for food, beverage, and providing excellent customer service
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift beer kegs, liquor, and wine boxes
