At Volvo of Halifax, we pride ourselves on delivering an exceptional customer experience, and we are currently looking for a Part-Time Receptionist to be a vital part of our team.

As a Part-Time Receptionist, you will serve as the initial point of contact for our clients and visitors. Your responsibilities will include managing appointments, responding to inquiries, and ensuring a welcoming reception area. We are looking for a personable and organized individual with strong communication abilities. If you are dedicated to customer service and can efficiently handle administrative tasks, this position is ideal for you.

Compensation: $16.00 – $17.35 per hour

Availability: Candidates must be able to work Friday from 8am to 6pm and Saturday from 9am to 5pm.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Professionally answer and direct phone calls
  2. Greet clients and provide them with necessary information
  3. Manage daily cash postings and bank deposits
  4. Perform data entry tasks
  5. Handle general clerical duties
  6. Assist with additional tasks as needed

Qualifications:

  1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  2. Professional demeanor on the phone
  3. Self-motivated with strong time management abilities
  4. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  5. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  6. Post-secondary education in Office Administration is a plus, but not mandatory
