Job Overview

SHIRAZALI JUMANI INC. is seeking a meticulous and skilled Bookkeeper to handle essential financial operations. The successful candidate will be entrusted with a variety of accounting responsibilities, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all financial matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Payroll Management: Calculate and prepare cheques for employee remuneration.
  • Financial Record Maintenance: Keep detailed financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts through both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
  • General Ledger Oversight: Maintain general ledgers and prepare financial statements.
  • Journal Entries: Accurately post journal entries to reflect financial transactions.
  • Reporting: Prepare various statistical, financial, and accounting reports as required.
  • Trial Balance Preparation: Prepare trial balances to ensure the accuracy of accounts.
  • Account Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile accounts to maintain financial integrity.
Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma program lasting 1 to 2 years.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year but less than 2 years of relevant experience.
Technical Skills
  • Software Proficiency: Familiarity with MS Excel, MS Word, and QuickBooks is essential.
