Join Our Team as a Physiotherapy Assistant

pt Health is excited to announce an opportunity for a Physiotherapy Assistant to become a vital part of our dedicated team. This position is offered on a Permanent Part-Time basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the physiotherapist in executing tailored treatment plans for residents in care facilities.
  • Administer prescribed therapies including gait training, balance enhancement exercises, and mobility improvement activities.
  • Facilitate safe and effective exercise sessions for groups of residents.
  • Prepare necessary equipment and ensure treatment areas are well-maintained.
  • Maintain regular communication with the physiotherapist regarding the progress of residents.
  • Document daily treatment sessions accurately using the company’s electronic health record system.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a PTA/OTA diploma or a related healthcare qualification.
  • Previous experience in a long-term care environment is preferred.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification.

All applicants must have received full vaccination against COVID-19 prior to commencing employment.
