Disability Administrator Role

We are seeking a skilled Disability Administrator to support our clients at People Corporation. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing disability claims, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring seamless administration of benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and adjudicate disability claims, including employee and physician statements
  • Assess and prepare new disability claims for processing
  • Process weekly claims payments and direct deposit payments
  • Handle letters for approved or declined claims
  • Assist clients with inquiries about their benefit plans, including disability, eligibility, and extended health care
  • Forward Long Term Disability (LTD) applications to insurers
  • Prepare disability reports for Trustee meetings

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in an office environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Previous claims experience, including Short Term Disability and WI knowledge
  • Extended health care and dental benefits
  • A retirement savings plan with company contributions
