Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Truck Dispatcher to oversee and manage our fleet operations at Bulk Carriers (P.E.I.) Limited. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth and efficient dispatching of our vehicles and personnel.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance to vehicle operators regarding traffic conditions and other relevant issues.
  • Organize and assign personnel based on established schedules and work orders.
  • Respond promptly to emergency situations requiring immediate dispatch of personnel.
  • Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of cross-border dispatching regulations and practices.
  • Assist individuals in urgent situations who require immediate support.
  • Coordinate activities of vehicle operators, crews, and equipment effectively.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Oversee a team of approximately 11-15 personnel.

Technical Skills
  • Proficient in dispatch management software.
  • Familiarity with database software.
  • Ability to operate GPS and other navigation systems.
Safety and Security
  • Completion of a criminal record check is required.
Work Environment
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail is essential.
