About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst, Manufacturing to join our team at Canada Goose. This role will involve working closely with Operations and Finance Teams to drive cost efficiencies and provide key financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • **Analyzing Manufacturing Costs**: Conduct in-depth analysis of manufacturing costs and provide explanations for variances from standard and LE.
  • **Process Optimization**: Develop a thorough understanding of manufacturing processes and labor expense drivers to identify areas for improvement.
  • **Data-Driven Insights**: Create data analytics and reporting to provide actionable insights to Operations Leadership.
  • **Accounting and Operational Management**: Manage key accounting and operational KPIs, ensuring adherence to accounting controls and implementing best practices.
  • **Reporting and Analysis**: Assist in the month-end closing process and prepare reports for management, providing timely and accurate financial information.
  • **Business Partnerships**: Build strong relationships with business partners across the organization.
  • **Budgeting and Forecasting**: Support annual standard cost update and budget forecasting, ensuring accurate and reliable financial projections.
  • **Process Improvement**: Identify areas for process improvement and develop mitigation procedures to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
  • **Experience**: 3+ years of relevant experience in an Operations Finance role.
  • **Education**: University degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance.
  • **Technical Skills**: Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Excel, with knowledge of reporting systems and databases like Power BI and Microsoft Access.
  • **Soft Skills**: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with business partners.
