About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Estate Manager to join our Consumer Insolvency team. As a trusted advisor, you will assist Canadians in navigating and overcoming financial challenges, helping them regain control of their finances.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with planning and delivery of consumer insolvency services, ensuring high-quality control and specialized knowledge.
  • Administer formal insolvency appointments, including bankruptcies and proposals, with attention to detail and a focus on debtor needs.
  • Develop relationships with referral sources, including credit counsellors, debt counsellors, lawyers, and accountants, to identify innovative ways to deliver added value.
  • Prepare and review relevant BIA documentation, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes, ensuring flexibility and adaptability.
Requirements
  • Completion of the Insolvency Administration course and/or BIA Insolvency Counselor course, or willingness to work toward same depending on experience.
  • 2 to 4 years of insolvency experience, with professional services experience outside of insolvency also considered.
  • Ability to speak French and English (written and oral) is considered an asset.
