Job Summary

The Data Integration Specialist will perform analysis of data managed by Mi-Case Offender Management System, as well as the Legacy system, and create the conversion process to extract, transform, and load the data from Legacy source to Mi-Case OMS system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop PL/SQL procedures to perform ETL functions, ensuring seamless data migration and integration.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts to gather data requirements and ensure accurate data conversion.
  • Work with Client/Source system analysts to gather source data and mapping details for the elements, ensuring data consistency and accuracy.
  • Develop, Test, and Release data migration procedures, ensuring timely and efficient data migration.
  • Manage and track work in DevOps, ensuring smooth data migration and integration.
  • Perform data migration audit, reconciliation, and exception reporting, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Develop Mi-Case Reports using Telerik, providing valuable insights and data analysis.
  • Own the data migration activities for assigned modules from start to finish, ensuring successful data migration and integration.
  • Assist in designing, planning, and managing the data migration process, ensuring efficient and effective data migration.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with a strong foundation in data integration and migration.
  • Experience in ODI - Oracle Data Integrator, and Telerik, with a proven track record of successful data migration and integration.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven experience in data acquisition, cleansing, migration, integration, and reconciliation from Legacy systems to AWS environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle database tools, PL/SQL, performance tuning, and data modeling, with a focus on data integration and migration.
  • Knowledge of AWS RDS and related services, with more than 5 years' experience with Oracle in a lead role.
  • Scripting skills for automation tasks, with a focus on data migration and integration.
  • Understanding of data security principles and best practices, with a focus on data protection and integrity.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a focus on collaboration and teamwork.
Work Environment
  • Long periods in front of a computer terminal, with regular breaks and opportunities for exercise.
  • Regularly required to sit, use hands, talk, and hear, with occasional walking and reaching.
  • Work hours are typically 8am to 5:00pm, with occasional extended hours and weekends to meet project release schedules.
