About the Job

Groupe J.F. Nadeau Inc. is seeking a skilled Transport Truck Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our fleet of commercial transport trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and Maintenance: Diagnose and repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems, including truck-trailer systems.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure all vehicles meet safety and regulatory standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other maintenance team members to achieve common goals and deadlines.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments and technologies to improve repair techniques and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Education: Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in a dusty, dirty, and noisy environment, and to lift heavy equipment.
