About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Assistant to join our team at PDQ Construction Ltd. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for assisting in various construction tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Clean and maintain heavy equipment, including cranes and other machinery.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt.
  • Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites.
  • Clean and organize salvaged materials.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
Work Environment

This is a dynamic and physically demanding role that requires working in various locations, often outdoors. You will be required to handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience is an asset, but not necessary.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment.
