About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Service Group Manager to join our team at MTL Aerostructure. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and technicians in the development and implementation of aerospace engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of 5-10 engineers and technicians in the development and implementation of aerospace engineering projects.
  • Project Management: Oversee the preparation of reports, evaluate technical designs and engineering work, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Staff Development: Hire, train, direct, and motivate staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills are required to effectively communicate with team members, stakeholders, and clients.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills are required to identify and resolve technical issues and conflicts that may arise during projects.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in aerospace engineering, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Language: Bilingual, with proficiency in English and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients.
  • Work Environment: Hybrid work environment, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
