Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Hand Assembler to join our production team. As a Hand Assembler, you will be responsible for ensuring that electronic components are correctly installed and assembled on printed circuit boards (PCBs).
Responsibilities:
- Inspect and prepare PCBs for assembly, ensuring that all components are correctly identified and placed.
- Hand solder and assemble electronic components on PCBs, following established procedures and guidelines.
- Install electronic parts and hardware in frames or assemblies using hand soldering, hand tools, and power tools.
- Perform quality control checks to ensure that assembled PCBs meet specifications and standards.
- Collaborate with production team members to achieve production goals and deadlines.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 graduate or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in hand soldering and assembly of PCBs.
- Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal).
- Able to read drawings, values, and correct polarity of PTH components.
- General knowledge of electronic components and manufacturing processes.
- Experience working in a production environment or working with similar equipment.
