Spark Power, a reputable partner in the energy sector across North America, is seeking a Project Manager Powerlines to oversee construction and maintenance initiatives. The Project Manager Powerlines will be pivotal in ensuring the smooth execution of various projects. The ideal candidate should possess substantial experience in managing projects related to high voltage, medium voltage, and low voltage power distribution systems, which include switchgear, circuit breakers, relays, transformers, and associated control systems.

Key Responsibilities of the Project Manager Powerlines:

  • Foster effective working relationships with clients, internal teams, and external partners such as vendors and utilities.
  • Deliver precise project estimates covering labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Define project scopes and objectives clearly.
  • Serve as the primary contact for clients, ensuring their requirements and expectations are fulfilled.
  • Proactively identify and resolve project challenges, implementing solutions to maintain project timelines.
  • Oversee project budgets, monitor expenses, and apply cost-saving strategies where feasible.

Qualifications We Seek:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction as a Powerline Technician (Lineman), ideally in a supervisory role.
  • Proficient in computer applications and quick to adapt to new software.
  • Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership qualities.
  • Experience in project management is advantageous but not mandatory.
