About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Hazelview Properties. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing general preventative and repair maintenance of multi-unit residential buildings, including in-suite turnover and repairs, and grounds maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including minor carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and painting
  • Conduct repairs and maintenance on buildings and grounds, including in-suite repairs and turnover
  • Assist with grounds maintenance, including landscaping and snow removal
  • Operate and maintain various tools and equipment, including handheld and electrical tools
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure timely completion of tasks

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of maintenance or related experience
  • Flexibility to work on-call on a rotating schedule (evenings & weekends)
  • Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, drywall, carpentry, and painting
  • Proficient with use of basic handheld and electrical tools
  • The ability to be flexible and adaptable, with a desire to learn about and grow within a new industry
  • Pride in your ability to work collaboratively on a team, and independently
