Underground Pipeline Installer

Park Paving Ltd. has established itself as a prominent entity in the road construction sector of Edmonton for nearly fifty years. We are currently seeking three experienced underground pipelayers to enhance our Civil Underground Division for the forthcoming construction season. This position is full-time and offers a competitive salary along with comprehensive benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proficient use of pipe lasers and transits
- Understanding of appropriate pipe securement and bedding techniques
- Ability to modify work plans based on ground conditions
- Knowledge of various shoring techniques and safe excavation practices
- Familiarity with municipal specifications relevant to assigned tasks
- Setting core elevations on structures
- Willingness to assist in various labor tasks, including rigging, operating small machinery, and installing precast elements
- Basic maintenance of equipment within the work scope
Qualifications:
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License
- Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Prepared to work around active sanitary and storm sewer systems
- Availability for Monday to Friday work, with potential for overtime and weekend shifts as needed
- Ground Disturbance 201 Standard training (Alberta) is preferred
- Confined Space Monitor/Entry training is advantageous
