Job Summary

Tower Automotive is seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our commercial transport truck systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and Maintenance: Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems to manufacturer's specifications.
  • Estimation and Scheduling: Estimate parts and labor costs to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs, and schedule maintenance services as needed.
  • Customer Service: Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements, and provide excellent customer service.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping: Complete reports to record problems and work performed, and maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the field of automotive service and repair.
  • Certifications: Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification.

  • Work Conditions: Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods.
