Position Overview:
As a Junior Software Engineer, you will be instrumental in enhancing the quality of Proposify's product through your expertise in system architecture, scalability, and operational considerations. Reporting directly to the Technical Lead, you will contribute significantly to our mission of delivering a world-class product.

We are looking for individuals who exhibit a strong sense of urgency and a proactive approach, coupled with excellent communication and collaboration skills to articulate complex technical concepts effectively.


Key Responsibilities:
# Mentor and support less experienced engineers.
# Engage in, assist with, and refine team prioritization and agile methodologies, utilizing data-driven insights to identify and seize opportunities for improvement.
# Work with React & NodeJS technologies.
# Execute coding tasks efficiently, maintaining high standards of quality and thorough documentation.
# Conduct production deployments, including necessary database updates.
# Proactively address production and infrastructure challenges by monitoring logs and relevant data.
# Participate in on-call rotations for production support as required.

Problem Solving:
# Collaborate at various levels to discuss challenges and potential solutions for tasks or projects.
# Conduct and assist with comprehensive problem analysis of application infrastructure and code when necessary.

Qualifications:
# Several years of experience in a role utilizing at least one server-side programming language such as PHP, Python, or Ruby.
# Experience in a startup environment is preferred.
# A relentless curiosity and enthusiasm for learning and experimenting with new technologies.
