Role Overview
Are you ready to embrace a challenging role that allows you to utilize your expertise in Safety Assurance? We are in search of skilled professionals eager to contribute to our Rail Certification and Consulting division. Your knowledge in areas such as Rolling Stock, Infrastructure, Signaling, or Operations & Maintenance will be invaluable as you support diverse aspects of the rail sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive analyses, evaluations, reports, and designs that support client initiatives while adhering to project timelines and financial constraints.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, ensuring compliance with company standards and project requirements.
- Develop innovative tools and methodologies to address client needs, leveraging best practices from around the globe.
- Strategically plan and execute project tasks to ensure timely completion and client satisfaction.
- Offer technical insights and contributions to business development efforts and proposals.
- Conduct thorough qualitative and quantitative risk assessments to ensure client safety and satisfaction.
- Represent the organization in client engagements, workshops, and industry conferences.
- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance project outcomes.
- Take on leadership responsibilities as necessary to meet business goals.
- Contribute to the expansion of our North American operations by delivering exceptional service to our clients.
Required Competencies and Experience
- Extensive experience (15+ years) in the rail sector with a proven background in safety assurance and/or assessment.
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to adapt and meet deadlines effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- In-depth understanding of CMREA / CSM / CENELEC standards.
- Familiarity with the Canadian Railway System, including CMREA, is a plus.
