Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Scribe to join our team at Watson Clinic. As a Medical Scribe, you will play a critical role in supporting our healthcare providers by accurately documenting patient information and facilitating smooth workflow.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret and record information from physicians accurately and in a timely manner, utilizing medical terminology and completing records per documentation guidelines/procedures within the EHR.
- Submit orders into the computer as directed by physicians.
- Perform any other duties as directed by physicians or supervisors.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1 year experience working in an ambulatory care setting.
- Working knowledge of medical terminology, abbreviations, and computer proficiency.
- Current BLS certification or to be completed within three months of employment.
- Pass basic typing test.
