About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Drafting Specialist to join our team at SAMO ENGINEERING LTD. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for preparing engineering designs and drawings, developing and preparing design sketches, and examining drawings for conformity and errors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed engineering designs and drawings using AutoCAD and Autodesk REVIT
  • Develop and prepare design sketches to communicate ideas and concepts
  • Examine drawings for conformity and errors, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • Consult with clients, engineers, and production specialists to establish product requirements
  • Write technical reports and specifications to document design and development processes
Requirements
  • College diploma or non-university certificate in a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in drafting and design
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Autodesk REVIT, and MS Office
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
