Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, as well as batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies to ensure a smooth production process.
  • Bake mixed dough and batters to meet quality and quantity standards.
  • Prepare special orders and ensure timely delivery to meet customer expectations.
  • Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods to meet presentation standards.
  • Draw up production schedules to optimize workflow and meet deadlines.
  • Inspect kitchen and food service areas to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Organize and maintain inventory to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
  • Oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods to meet sales targets.
Requirements:
  • Ability to distinguish between colors and attention to detail to ensure quality products.
  • Fast-paced environment and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Hand-eye coordination and ability to handle heavy loads.
  • Physically demanding work and ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Tight deadlines and ability to work accurately and efficiently.
  • Work under pressure and ability to maintain a calm and composed demeanor.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in a bakery or related field.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues.
