Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior C# Programmer to join our team at Ubisoft Montreal. As a key member of our animation team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining animation systems that bring our games to life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with animation, programming, and motion capture teams to understand their game animation needs and design adapted solutions.
  • Analyze existing animation features in the engine and develop new animation systems to meet the highest quality standards.
  • Build and maintain animation systems that enable the creation of dynamic, visually stunning games.
  • Program in a clear and structured manner, ensuring performance, memory, maintenance, compatibility, and portability requirements are met.
  • Research and develop new animation techniques, such as procedural and physics-based animation.
  • Monitor the evolution of animation techniques and share knowledge with cross-functional teams across Ubisoft.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in C++ and C# programming, with a strong understanding of Visual Studio.
  • Experience with animation techniques, including rigging, state machines, physics ragdolls, inverse kinematics, compression, and facial animation.
  • A degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or related training.
  • A good eye for detail to optimize systems and find even the smallest flaws.
