Job Title: Live-in Caregiver

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Live-in Caregiver to join our team at Jasmine Parr CSIL. As a Live-in Caregiver, you will provide high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, taking into account clients' dietary needs and preferences.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging in activities that promote their physical and mental well-being.
  • Launder clothing and household linens, ensuring clients' personal items are clean and hygienic.
  • Shop for food and household supplies, managing clients' budgets and making informed purchasing decisions.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Health Care Aide Certificate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
Work Environment:

Our clients live in urban areas, and as a Live-in Caregiver, you will work in their employer's/client's home. The work environment is non-smoking, and optional accommodation is available at no charge on a live-in basis.

Language:

The primary language spoken in the workplace is English.

Work Hours:

As a Live-in Caregiver, you will work 30 to 40 hours per week, with a permanent work term.
