Senior Android Developer Position

Tangerine Bank is seeking a highly skilled Senior Android Developer to join our team. As a key member of our mobile development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying world-class digital products and experiences on the Android platform.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop high-quality Android applications that meet the needs of our customers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize features and requirements.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Android technologies and trends.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure that all code meets our high standards.
- Work closely with our design team to ensure that our applications are visually appealing and user-friendly.
- 5+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years of experience in native Android development.
- Strong understanding of Android architecture, including MVVM, MVC, and Clean Architecture.
- Experience with unit-testing, code for robustness, security, usability, and improving performance of the overall application.
- Familiarity with building mobile accessibility components to improve application usability.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
- Strong command in Computer Science concepts (SOLID, etc.).
- Experience in integrating Third Party libraries and SDKs.
- Experience building applications that consume web services and REST interaction with JSON.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
