We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physiotherapist II to join our team at NL Health Services. As a key member of our community health team, you will play a vital role in providing person-centered care to our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and treatment services to patients with a range of physical health conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs and goals of each patient.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and optimal health outcomes.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote healthy lifestyles and self-management of chronic conditions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the delivery of physiotherapy services and improve patient outcomes.
- Master's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
- Current registration and licensure with the Newfoundland and Labrador College of Physiotherapists (NLCP).
- Minimum of three years' experience as a Clinical Physiotherapist with an adult outpatient population.
- Strong understanding of the public health system and community resources.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Post-entry education courses in Orthopedic Level II - Upper and Lower Quadrant treatment.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records and Microsoft Office tools.
- Experience in adult education and community health programming.
- Knowledge of change leadership and quality improvement methodologies.
- Competitive salary range: $81,607.50 to $96,252.00 per annum.
- 75 hours per pay period, including evenings and weekends.
- Flexible scheduling to meet the needs of our patients and community.
