Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a wide range of nursing services to patients, families, and communities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Utilize nursing processes, including critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making, to deliver safe and effective patient care.
  • Teach, counsel, and advocate on behalf of patients and their families, promoting health and well-being.
  • Support an integrated and holistic approach to patient care, health promotion, and maintenance, reflecting the shared vision and values of Alberta Health Services.
Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited nursing education program.
  • Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA).
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification.
  • Additional qualifications may be required, as specified by the organization.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in seniors health.
