Co-op Position - Accounting Technician - (4 or 8 Month Terms)

The selected candidate will gain exposure to various facets of public accounting, ensuring a comprehensive co-op experience.

Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Supporting the preparation of financial statements for compilations and review engagements tailored for small to medium-sized enterprises.
  • Preparing individual and corporate tax filings.
  • Contributing to audits for a range of institutional and non-profit entities.
  • Executing additional accounting-related tasks as required.
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • Relevant education and/or experience in accounting.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, self-driven, and capable of working autonomously as well as collaboratively.
  • Familiarity with accounting software such as Quickbooks, Simply Accounting, AccPac, Caseware, Spreadsheets (Excel), and Tax Programs (Tax Prep) is advantageous.
