Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Hampton Inn Suites by Hilton Thunder Bay. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of cleaning staff to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Inspect and Maintain Facilities: Conduct regular inspections to ensure our facilities meet safety and cleanliness standards, and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Manage Budgets: Prepare and manage budgets for cleaning supplies and services.
  • Coordinate Services: Arrange for additional services such as painting, repairs, and renovations as needed.
  • Maintain Records: Keep accurate financial records and track expenses.
  • Assist Cleaners: Provide support to cleaning staff as needed to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Coordinate with Other Departments: Work with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
