Job Title: Vice President, Government Relations

At Innovative Medicines Canada, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President, Government Relations to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a high-impact government relations and stakeholder strategy that positions our association as a thought leader and partner on issues related to healthcare and the industry at large.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in government relations, with a strong network of government and stakeholder relationships. You will be responsible for:

  • Developing and executing a government relations strategy that advances our organization's objectives
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with government officials, stakeholders, and industry partners
  • Providing strategic advice to our leadership team on government relations and stakeholder engagement
  • Leading a team of government relations professionals to achieve our organization's goals

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 10+ years of experience in government relations, with a strong track record of success
  • A proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with government officials and stakeholders
  • Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Bilingual (English/French) is required
