About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and organized individual to join our team as a live-in caregiver at GENEVIÈVE LEDUC. As a caregiver, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and support to our clients in a comfortable and safe environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Laundering and Household Duties

You will be responsible for laundering clothing and household linens, as well as performing light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.

Meal Preparation

You will prepare and serve nutritious meals to our clients, taking into account their dietary needs and preferences.

Work Environment

You will work in a non-smoking environment, with optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. This is not a condition of employment.

Work Setting

You will work in the employer's home, providing one-on-one care and support to our clients.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

The role is physically demanding, requiring you to lift, bend, and stand for long periods. You will also work under pressure to meet the needs of our clients.

Personal Suitability

We are looking for someone who is dependable, organized, and reliable. You should also possess patience, honesty, and a strong work ethic.

Experience

You should have at least 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of the needs of seniors and individuals with disabilities.

Language

You should be fluent in English or French, with the ability to communicate effectively with our clients and their families.

Work Hours

You will work 40 hours per week, with a regular schedule and opportunities for overtime.
