Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our Volunteer Ski Patrol team at WhiteWater Ski Resort. As a Volunteer Ski Patrol Ambassador, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first aid to injured guests and staff, utilizing your knowledge of Occupational First Aid Level III or 80 hour Advanced First Aid.
- Assist in risk management and general mountain safety initiatives to reduce or eliminate hazards.
- Participate in avalanche control procedures, lift evacuations, and search and rescue operations.
- Shadow an experienced patroller for 4 days to maximize orientation and learn patroller tasks and responsibilities.
Requirements:
- Avalanche Skills Training Level 1
- Occupational First Aid Level III or 80 hour Advanced First Aid
- Minimum commitment of 16 shifts over the season
