We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to join our team at Brigadier Equities Ltd. as a key member of our food service operations.
Key Responsibilities- Operations Management: Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules, requisition food and kitchen supplies, and supervise the activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
- Staff Supervision: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Financial Management: Prepare budget and cost estimates, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit reports, and prepare food order summaries for the chef.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service establishment.
- Work Setting: Food service establishment, restaurant, hotel, motel, or resort.
- Supervision: 5-10 people, including kitchen and food service helpers.
- Language: English.
- Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
