Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional with a passion for data analysis and problem-solving, possessing 2-3 years of experience in Search Engine Marketing (SEM). The SEM Specialist will be a key contributor to our media team, responsible for strategizing, implementing, optimizing, and reporting on SEM initiatives for our clients. Your expertise in SEM will be crucial in enhancing campaign performance, managing budgets effectively, and transforming diverse data sets into actionable strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the media team to design and execute SEM, PPC, and other digital marketing strategies, including data collection, campaign oversight, ad development, analysis, and reporting.
  • Enhance paid search outcomes by applying industry best practices while adhering to established revenue targets.
  • Oversee multiple campaigns simultaneously, focusing on achieving return on investment (ROI) objectives.
  • Monitor, document, and report on SEM performance metrics weekly and monthly, compiling them into a format suitable for client presentation.
  • Partner with the media team to strategize and implement SEO initiatives for clients across various sectors.
  • Develop a tagging strategy and facilitate the execution of measurement and tracking processes.
  • Undertake additional tasks as directed by the Media Supervisor as necessary.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in Google Ads.
  • 2-3 years of hands-on experience in PPC/SEM with a solid understanding of campaign setup, ad creation, and keyword research.
  • Familiarity with Google Ads Editor and Microsoft Editor.
  • Experience with Search Ads 360 is advantageous.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, dashboards, and macros.
  • Intermediate knowledge of HTML, SEO, and Google Analytics, including Google Tag Manager.
  • Google Ads Certification is required.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical abilities, and a capacity for data-driven decision-making.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Flexibility and the ability to maintain composure under pressure.
