About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pharmacy Clerk to join our team at Prescription Works Pharmacy. As a Pharmacy Clerk, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and supporting the pharmacy team in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers and discuss their needs, providing recommendations and answering questions about products and services.
  • Point of Sale Operations: Operate a cash register, process transactions, and handle customer payments.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records, reordering stock, and performing data entry tasks.
  • Merchandise Display: Assist in displaying merchandise and maintaining a visually appealing store environment.
  • Sales and Transactions: Conduct sales transactions, including Internet-based electronic commerce, and maintain accurate records.
  • Insurance and Claims: Complete insurance and other claim forms as required.
Work Environment and Requirements
  • Work Setting: Pharmacy or drugstore environment with a fast-paced atmosphere.
  • Physical Demands: Standing for extended periods and maintaining attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Positive attitude, quick learner, efficient interpersonal skills, organized, team player, accurate, client focus, and initiative.
Education and Experience
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
