Position Overview

Join our team at The Feasts - Best Food & Drinks as a dedicated Cashier. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our valued customers, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is an asset.
Work Environment
  • Setting: Fast-paced restaurant and fast food environment.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 48 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
  • Operate the cash register efficiently.
  • Process various forms of payment including cash, cheques, and credit/debit cards.
  • Scan items accurately and tabulate total payments for goods or services.
  • Receive payments and provide change as necessary.
  • Calculate daily or shift payments received and reconcile with total sales.
  • Engage in suggestive selling to enhance customer experience.
  • Maintain cleanliness by stocking shelves and keeping the counter area tidy.
  • Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Monitor entrances and exits, ensuring proof of payment is requested when needed.
  • Participate in promotional activities to drive sales.
