Position Overview
We are seeking an IT Business Analyst specializing in IT Resilience and Compliance to join our Service Center. This role will report to the Senior Manager of IT Resilience and Compliance and will work closely with the IT Resilience and Compliance team to provide strategic insights and support.
Key Responsibilities
- IT Resilience and Compliance Duties (30% of time)
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure that resilience and compliance strategies align with business goals.
- Advise on best practices and emerging trends in IT resilience and compliance.
- Document essential plans, policies, and procedures related to IT resilience and compliance.
- Manage inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and vendor requirements.
- Compliance and Cybersecurity Responsibilities (50% of time)
- Support IT compliance initiatives across cybersecurity and information security domains.
- Review and update compliance documentation and policies.
- Maintain compliance records through automated systems.
- Participate in technical reviews and provide reports for management meetings.
- Stay informed on security trends and best practices.
- Disaster Recovery and IT Resilience Tasks (20% of time)
- Assist in maintaining disaster recovery documentation and standards.
- Support the development of training and testing programs for disaster recovery.
- Ensure operational requirements for disaster recovery are met.
- Utilize specialized training to operate resilience tools and platforms.
- Recommend proactive measures to enhance resilience and mitigate risks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in IT business analysis, particularly in compliance and risk management.
Skills and Knowledge
- Strong understanding of risk management and compliance frameworks.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards such as PIPEDA, PCI DSS, NIST, and ISO.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with business continuity tools.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into business language.
- Strong analytical skills with the capability to present data clearly.
Language Requirements
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French is essential.
