Job Summary:

The Early Childhood Educator will be responsible for developing and implementing child-care programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children. This role requires a strong commitment to providing a safe and nurturing environment that promotes learning and growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Supervise staff, trainees, or volunteers to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
  • Lead activities that promote learning and development, such as storytelling, singing, and outings.
  • Encourage children to express their creativity through art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity.
  • Guide and assist children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents or guardians.
  • Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children.
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers.
  • Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children.
Requirements:
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • Child Abuse Registry check.
  • Immunization records.
Work Environment:

This role requires a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks is essential.
