Job Summary

The Branch Team Leader plays a pivotal role in driving growth and excellence within our insurance brokerage. As a seasoned professional, you will be responsible for aligning our Autoplan, Personal lines, and Commercial teams to achieve ambitious growth goals. Your expertise in insurance solutions, leadership skills, and ability to foster a positive work environment will be essential in motivating your team to deliver exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead by example, demonstrating a player/coach approach to mentor and guide your team to exceed client expectations.
  • Service a book of business in either personal lines or commercial, leveraging your past experience to drive results.
  • Set and train client service expectations, ensuring a seamless experience for our clients.
  • Oversee the selection and recruitment process, workforce planning, and training needs assessment.
  • Handle difficult situations with poise and professionalism, maintaining a calm and respectful demeanor.
  • Recognize and reward team members for their achievements, fostering a culture of appreciation and gratitude.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying your knowledge to drive business growth and improvement.
  • Collaborate with other Team Leaders, contributing to team meetings and sharing ideas to drive collective success.

Requirements

  • Strong Autoplan knowledge, with the ability to complete ICBC Autoplan transactions.
  • Proven ability to create an environment where team members thrive and want to do their best.
  • Level two general insurance license.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and staying ahead of industry trends.
  • Excellent client service skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional results.
  • Proven ability to interact professionally and effectively with team members and clients.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to influence team members positively.
