About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team at Lassonde Food Service. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for analyzing and reconciling key financial results and their counterpart on the balance sheet, participating actively in the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing process, and contributing to internal control and reporting to our head office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and balance transactions affecting the gross contribution;
  • Ensure accurate accounting of revenues and expenses;
  • Perform follow-ups on accounts and/or provisions;
  • Analyze budget variances and prior-year results;
  • Participate in the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing process;
  • Produce reports and analyses;
  • Monitor and reconcile balance sheet accounts and ensure accurate accounting;
  • Participate in analytical reviews and prepare various quarterly analyses;
  • Prepare supporting documentation for external and internal audits;
  • Participate in budgeting process;
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and optimization of accounting practices;

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration - Accounting profile;
  • CPA designation (an asset);
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role;

Desired Skills:

  • Bilingualism in French and English, oral and written (essential for interactions with colleagues, clients, and suppliers who may be unilingual English speakers in other provinces or countries);
  • Open-minded and continuous improvement approach;
  • Good learning capacity, good synthesis ability;
  • Good communication skills;
  • Responsible, autonomous, meticulous, rigorous, proactive, and team player;
  • Excellent priority management;
  • Computer skills: MS Office Suite, good Excel skills, ERP knowledge (an asset);
