Your Responsibilities:

In the role of Lead Revenue Accountant, you will oversee the financial operations related to revenue. Your responsibilities will include conducting financial analyses to ensure precise financial reporting, enabling management to make informed, data-driven decisions. This position offers you the chance to collaborate with key business stakeholders and gain deeper insights into corporate and commercial functions.

This role is ideal for a Senior Accountant or Accounting Manager ready to advance their career by acquiring valuable commercial and analytical experience. We are committed to investing in the growth and development of our employees.

  • Manage the invoicing and payment reminder/collection processes, collaborating with the accounts receivable team to ensure effective and efficient financial transactions.
  • Complete month-end processing tasks, analyses, and reports, including balance sheets, revenue, and product reporting.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness in reporting metrics and related transactions.
  • Analyze data to provide actionable insights and ensure thoroughness.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and the commercial terms of customer contracts.
  • Work cross-functionally with team members at all levels to ensure alignment on commercial terms, invoicing, and collection matters.
  • Guarantee that all regulatory and tax compliance requirements related to revenue are filed accurately and punctually, including commissions.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally as a Senior Accountant in an industry role focused on revenue accounting or in an audit capacity within a medium to large CPA firm.
  • Completion or near completion of CPA or equivalent certification.
  • A resilient, adaptable, and solution-oriented mindset for addressing areas of improvement and resolving issues.
  • The ability to interpret accounting standards and recommend appropriate accounting treatments for complex transactions across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Comfort in functioning as an individual contributor, collaborating as a team member, and stepping into a leadership role.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A proven track record of enhancing productivity and implementing improvements that drive efficiency and business performance.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google Suite.

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is $82,000 to $95,000 annually. Please note that the offered base pay may vary based on factors such as knowledge, skills, experience, and organizational needs.
