Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team at CB Canada. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing IMAX Live projects from conception through completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate equipment deliveries, manpower requirements, and documentation with various internal departments.
  • Work with theater partners and IMAX's Connectivity PM to track project progress and provide internal reports and schedule updates.
  • Prepare and monitor project schedules and approve contractor invoices.
  • Forecast installations and ensure they are completed to meet scheduled targets and budgets.
  • Coordinate and manage the installation of the Booth Junction Box with partners or electrical vendors.
  • Prepare and review project reports on a weekly basis.
  • Manage project costs and ensure they are kept to a minimum without compromising results or client satisfaction.
  • Ensure theater partners have all necessary information to coordinate within their internal teams.
  • Report and coordinate with Senior Director of Project Management on current status and forecasted weekly installs and commissioning's.
  • Coordinate with the Install Team for manpower requirements and schedules.
  • Monitor Fiber Circuit installs with Connectivity PM and report on progress and/or significant issues.
  • Ensure sites are ready for IMAX equipment installation and coordinate with IMAX supervisors.
  • Monitor equipment installation process and deal with problems or issues.
  • Issue Installation Summary Reports to Senior Director of Project Management.
  • Ensure all project-related documentation is complete, including correspondence.
  • Prepare and monitor project budgets and ensure all costs are justified and correct.
  • Provide quarterly spending forecasts and information to finance on LIVE installation reports.
  • Hand system over to Technical Services and provide documentation to start warranty period.
  • Provide feedback to internal departments to improve project execution and reduce costs.
  • Provide monthly reports on each project to internal departments.

Requirements

  • Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Project.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to review, analyze, and prioritize information, make decisions, and provide clear and concise instructions.
  • Ability to interact with various cultures and different languages.
  • Basic budgeting and accounting skills.
  • Experience with SAP, Smartsheet, and SharePoint.
