Job Title: Home Support Worker

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Christopher Lesanko. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide personal care and support to clients in their own homes, promoting their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as meal preparation and light housekeeping
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Assist clients with mobility and transfer activities, such as walking and transferring from bed to chair
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including laundry and linen management
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience working in a healthcare or social services setting
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and perform physical tasks as required
Work Environment:

As a Home Support Worker, you will work in a variety of settings, including clients' homes, community centers, and other healthcare facilities. You will be required to travel to clients' homes and may be required to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends.
