Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team at EMCO Corporation. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of customer orders, as well as the receipt and storage of incoming materials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pick, pack, and ship customer orders in a timely and accurate manner
  • Count, verify, and receive incoming vendor material and customer returns
  • Load and unload trucks, operate forklifts, and other material handling equipment
  • Receiving duties include verifying material received, noting discrepancies, and entering material into the computer system
  • Picking, packing, and shipping duties include assembling material, packing, and completing documentation for shipments
  • Notify the team of any inventory discrepancies or damaged material
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety

Requirements

  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent; college and/or university degree an asset
  • Minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience
  • Outstanding customer service and verbal communication skills
  • Able to develop comprehensive product knowledge
  • Ability to learn to safely operate a forklift and other material handling equipment
  • Possess a high level of attention to detail and accurately process orders

Preferred Skills

  • Previous experience with or knowledge of plumbing and building products sold at the Profit Centre
  • Experience using Trend, Eclipse, Word, Excel, and Outlook
