About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at RhynoCare. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Nursing Care: Deliver exceptional nursing care to patients, adhering to established policies, physician's orders, and the resident plan of care.
- Assess and Plan Care: Conduct thorough assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate the effectiveness of care provided.
- Coordinate Transfers and Discharges: Ensure timely and safe transfers and discharges of residents, maintaining a smooth and efficient process.
- Manage Medications and Supplies: Safeguard and manage medications, narcotics, and supplies, adhering to protocols and guidelines.
- Collaborate with Team Members: Work effectively with healthcare professionals, residents, and families to provide comprehensive care and support.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor of Science – Nursing (BScN), Bachelor of Nursing (BN), or equivalent.
- Registration and Certification: Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses and Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Knowledge and Skills: Familiarity with the Long Term Care Act, Program Standards for Long Term Care, and other relevant legislation and regulations.
- Clearance and Certifications: Medical Clearance, Vulnerable Sector Police Check, Adult Abuse Registry Check, and Clear Criminal Record check.
