Job Title: Automotive Repair Technician

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Repair Technician to join our team at Ontario Inc. in a permanent position.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for estimating repair costs, inspecting repaired vehicles, planning repair work, and providing exceptional customer service. They will also be required to replace front-end components, body components, doors, and frame and underbody components, as well as file, grind, and sand body surfaces to be repaired.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Estimate repair costs based on damage examination reports
  • Inspect repaired vehicles to ensure high-quality workmanship
  • Plan repair work to be performed, including replacement of front-end components, body components, doors, and frame and underbody components
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring professionalism and a welcoming environment
  • Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents, and seams
  • Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment
Requirements:
  • College/CEGEP education
  • 1-2 years of experience in the automotive repair industry
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a physically demanding environment, requiring attention to detail and the ability to work independently. They will be required to bend, crouch, and kneel regularly.
