A leading manufacturing company in Ottawa is seeking a highly skilled professional to join their fast-growing team.
About You
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- At least 12 years of experience in industrial controls
- Hands-on experience with designing control systems
- Proficiency in PLC, SCADA, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD
- Ability to work on-site 5 days a week in Ottawa, Ontario
About the Job
As a key member of the Engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and supervising all aspects of electrical control systems, equipment, and machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical control systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Supervise and coordinate the installation and testing of control systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and standards
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in control systems technology
