Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough medical examinations to diagnose and treat various health conditions.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory tests and X-rays, to determine the best course of treatment.
  • Prescribe and administer medications, as well as provide vaccinations and other medical treatments.
  • Perform routine surgeries and assist in more complex procedures.
  • Deliver babies and provide prenatal and postnatal care to new mothers.
  • Offer health advice and counseling to patients and their families.
  • Report important health information to government authorities.
  • Coordinate and manage primary patient care.
  • Provide emergency care and supervise home care services.
Requirements:
  • Education: Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset.
  • Skills: Attention to detail, combination of sitting, standing, and walking, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, reliability, and values and ethics.
Work Conditions:

This is a permanent position with a 30-hour workweek. The work language is English.
